What does Extended Warranty Insurance include?
For selected products, you can extend the legal warranty period by an additional 12, 24 or 36 months. The extended warranty begins upon receipt of the goods and starts the day after the expiry of the statutory warranty period. The extended warranty protects the purchased product to the same extent as the manufacturer's warranty.
The extended warranty insurance is intended only for natural persons not acting in the course of their business (purchase of goods without an ID number).
In which cases can I rely on this service?
This service solves your concerns about service costs after the warranty period and allows you to enjoy the product for up to five years. It will give you the assurance that the new device will operate for a minimum of 60 months without additional costs. Reimbursement of any damages is made without your participation.
What should I do if the device doesn't work?
In case of an extended "Scorpion" warranty, please prepare a proof of purchase and contact the Scorpion-elektro.com customer service line at 722 942 940. The line staff will verify the validity of the warranty and inform you of the next steps.
In the case of the "Allianz" extended warranty, please prepare a contract number and contact the Allianz customer service line at 283 002 868. The line staff will verify the validity of the contract, take your contact details, as well as information about the product and the nature of its defect.
They will then forward the contract to the relevant service partner, who will contact you within a maximum of 2 working days and agree with you on the method and date of repair.
In the event that the repair is not repairable or not profitable, we will provide you with a new device of comparable parameters, including its transport to your address.
Do I have to pay anything?
The only cost you will pay is the postage to send the small device to the workshop. Large non-transferable instruments are repaired on site. Repairs are paid for directly by the insurance company to the repair shop, you will not be pulling out your wallet any further.
Complaints and returns
If you return the goods within the statutory 14-day period, you will also be refunded the full amount of the extended warranty.
If there is an irreparable defect within the legal warranty period, the extended warranty will be transferred to a new product or you will be refunded the full amount of the extended warranty.
How do I get Extended Warranty Insurance?
Select the item and check the "+12 months", "+24 months" or "+36 months" Warranty Extension box in the shopping cart.
You will always see the exact amount for each product for which you can arrange Extended Warranty Insurance.
After you have paid the purchase price including the insurance fee and received the ordered goods, you will receive an Extended Warranty Insurance Certificate by e-mail as confirmation.
